“I don’t want to believe, I want to know.”

The Most Important Thing in Life

“Love is patient and kind, never jealous, boastful, proud or rude, isn’t selfish or quick tempered, doesn’t keep a record of wrongs that others do, rejoices in the truth, not in evil, is always supportive, loyal, hopeful and trusting and never fails.”1 Corinthians 13:4-8

I don’t need to believe in an invisible man in the sky, to agree that that is love.
If that is love, most people don’t love correctly.
Fully.
Myself included.
Good heavens, how far I am from loving like that!
And then, we want to be happy.
Don’t we?
Happy!
Can anyone be happy without being loved?
Almost impossible to imagine.
To be happy, everybody needs to be loved.
Needs.
No love, no happiness.
So, it’s just about being loved?
No.
No!
Love exists only because it’s produced.
If nobody loves, nobody is loved.
We need to produce love.
We need to love.
Love, in order to be loved.
